Kenya AA “Kinoro”

This Kenya AA is from a Cooperative in Meru called Kinoro. We chose this coffee for it’s soft, medium body with hints of blueberry and citrus. It is less tangy and pointed than many East African coffees, but has a distinctly fruity cup. The Kinoro Cooperative is located on the southern slopes of snow-capped Mt. Kenya in the Meru district of Kenya about 150 miles from Nairobi. The cooperative sits approximately 5,600 feet above sea level and its rich volcanic soils enjoy abundant rainfall.
